On Saturday, April 5th, the Declan Drumm Sullivan memorial fund will host its third annual fundraiser, No Ordinary Evening, in the Grand Ballroom of Chicago’s Navy Pier. Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly will be joining attendees for great food, live music, a silent and live auction, and an opportunity to remember the life of a Notre Dame student who was interested in giving back to his community. The generosity of Declan’s fellow Notre Dame family members has raised over $1.2 million for the Horizons for Youth, allowing them to enrich the lives of 52 young men and women who otherwise might be lost to the streets.
Take this opportunity to buy a ticket, or if you’re not in the neighborhood, contribute to a very worthy cause. Information on attendance and donations can be found on the event website. Once again, we have the chance to show how the spirit of Notre Dame can work in a weary world, so let’s not waste it.
