As you noted face-offs are different
Field size is different - women's field is bigger
Rules different - no body checking in women's
Equipment is different - women don't wear all the pads that men wear and no helmets
Sticks are different - women's stick has tight netting not made for cradling
Men - 10 players / Women - 12 players
Penalties are different too - women have yellow and red cards like soccer

my wife suggested I help out because I played in highs school. I told her the game is completely different and wouldn't be any help because my instincts would be to hit the other player which is a big no no in girls lacrosse.
