At the risk of getting ahead of things, this race is shaping up to be interesting. Kirst and Brandau are sitting at home from now on. O'Neill needed an empty net to score Sunday and Shellenberger was limited to two assists Friday.

PKav and Entenmann may split votes, but I'm not sure anyone else is going to surge into contention. Malone from PSU maybe?


Last year taught me that stats are all that matters.

Take the top 2 guys who scored the most goals and give one the award. P.Kav has no chance to win because:

A) He doesn't do his damage by scoring goals and assists don't impress people.

B) ND doesn't play as many games as everyone else so even if he scored the same goals per game as O'Neill etc...he'd be 10 goals behind them.

Entenmann should absolutely win.
NDs depth and quality probably hurts in this case.
