Perhaps the finest sports program at ND the last 25 years was torn down in just a couple years by yet another horrible coaching hire (Schrage). Aoki may eventually rebuild it, but a little diligence by our AD at the time could have avoided this meltdown which has led to us getting our clocks cleaned as the 7 seed in the BE tourney. I used to look (very) forward to Irish baseball in May/June. It feels like those days may never return.
