I was wondering why Oregon would come all the way

to South Bend for a midweek game, then I saw they have a 3 game series afterwards in E.Lansing with MSU. Still wondering why they would come to the Midwest at this point in the season. Is there a Pac12/B1G challenge in Baseball?

When I saw that on our schedule, I assumed

that Oregon was on their Spring Break. But that was last week.

The MSU series is a return for a visit MSU made to Eugene last year (MSU swept 3 games). I wouldn't be surprised to see ND head out to Eugene next year or soon thereafter. I think the only prior ND trips to the Pacific Northwest were some tournaments at Seattle's Kingdome in the 1990s, and a 3-game series against Seattle U. at Husky Ballpark in 2011. ND never has played Oregon in baseball before, and apparently never has played a baseball game in the state of Oregon.
