27-27....a quick look at a bad year

Consider:

ND got 9 of their 11 ACC wins over bottom feeders BC (3), VT (3), Pitt (1), Wake (2).

Their only other ACC wins were over NC State, and UNC.

ND was 3-9 in series (more than 1 game against teams), including a 3-5 mark in ACC series. They were swept 3 times in ACC series (UL, FSU, Clemson...should thank their lucky stars Miami was snowed out).

ND needed a comeback to take 1 of 3 from Ohio University. They lost an ACC series to Pitt. Both of these were in South Bend.

ND didn't just manage to lose to the big time ACC/SEC teams this season. They also own losses to Santa Clara (2), Bradley, Bucknell, Ohio U (2), and the stellar Eastern Michigan program.

They did manage to go 3-3 vs. the MAC. So, it was not all gloom and doom this season.
