Lisfranc is a terrible injury. it is a disruption of the ligament that attaches the forefoot to the midfoot and requires 3 months of non-weight bearing on the operative side, then physical therapy begins which is another 6 months.
that being said, division 1 athletes are genetically blessed and receive the highest level of care and thus, have the best chance of coming back.
