It will be a nod to the history of the two iconic brands represented at the game. Obviously the G stands for Green Bay, which won 6 NFL championships under Lambeau. But it is also a nod to Grand Valley State, at which Brian Kelly won 2 Division II championships!

Curly will not be the only Lambeau legend being honored for his connection to Notre Dame football. Our offensive lineman will be fitted with a new Under Armour blocks of granite on their feet, the Leahy-Lombardi Lodestones™. The latest in igneous technology. Our offensive linemen will be an immovable force. Which is the idea actually because the special stones will actually attract defensive linemen to the linemen through magnetic force. Stay tuned to the ND Football twitter page, which will reveal the equipment being delivered to the Gug by the Crowley Clydesdale.

ND's new footwear leaves the RB free to pick up the blitz. Which he will do, in the innovative spirit of Rockne, by distracting linebackers with a special play sheet fitted with Paul Hornung's bookie's Sunday tips. This new technology will literally make your opponents quit the game after it destroys their amateur eligibility by halftime.

The jerseys meanwhile are hand stitched by Lombardi Award winner and Green Bay Packer Super Bowl champion, himself, Aaron Taylor.
