Because the format won't change until at least the 2026 season, and because ESPN reportedly won't change their outlay whether it's 12 teams or 14, there is no immediate urgency to figure out what the format will be after the next 2 seasons.

There have been reports that 5+9 is gaining traction over whatever the hell the other one was, but nothing is for certain.
