Including several key contributors and starting center.

Not meaning to equate the two situations, but the departure numbers are similar.

Two of the 17 were walk-ons.

In this day and age, losing 10-20 players to the portal is the new normal.

And there is still the post spring practice portal when more departures are likely for most teams.

I did see a site that mentioned A&M added 24 players via the portal earlier this year. I also see 5 players have already entered the spring portal which just opened today.
