“I think he’s going to do something to probably help the Democrats, I think, if he lowers interest rates,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” that will air Sunday.

“It looks to me like he’s trying to lower interest rates for the sake of maybe getting people elected, I don’t know,” he added.


The conclusion to draw from that is that Powell should keep rates high so the economy (i.e.everyday Americans) suffers in order to assist Trump’s candidacy. Just like not passing immigration bills.
