absence of continued US assistance - the cowardice of our political leadership on full display here.

What is surprising, to me, is that the US is apparently trying to prevent Ukraine from attacking Russian energy infrastructure. It seems to me that Russia's funding of its war of aggression relies on its ability to export oil and gas - why shouldn't Ukraine try to hobble that source of funding?

If the White House wants Ukraine to endure, it shouldn't be trying to hamstring its defenses. This is independent of the paralysis in Congress, which is its own shameful episode.
