They are not going to telegraph their move, like Iran did. They are going to strike when the opportunity presents itself. I'd talk tough, let the Iranians sit on edge for a bit, let them get complacent, then strike.

Are you suggesting that they will launch a symbolic strike and call it a day? That simply accelerates the wheel of violence without achieving anything, and puts the ball back in Iran's court. I do not see the point of such [in]action.

Exactly. it's like folks here either don't consume news

And these articles are from the earlier part of the last decade. Israel is quiet and calculated. Maybe if Biden and Obama ceased the delusions of compromise with Iran on the Nuclear question and took a more hard line tack things would be vastly more peaceful.

We should be projecting immense power across to the other side of the table. Not only do we have nuclear warheads but we will not hesitate to use them when called to do so. Does that preclude a first strike possibility? No, it should not if the circumstances dictate it. Said differently, to properly project power everything should be on the table to be used without hesitation.

Note for dimwits: The above does not suggest, imply, or in anyway support the idea that the US should loosely threaten to use nuclear armaments in offensive capacities. Self defense measures can entail the threat of the use of nuclear weapons when deterence has failed and use of wmd by the enemy is probable.

The only winning move is not to play

I don't know what they will do

but the announcement doesn't seem to be a clue to figuring that out.
