I see him misused by the far left more often. During 2020 people were breaking out the "language of the unheard" quote to justify riots.

The same people also wanted to use the "white moderate" quote to back up shaming people who didn't agree with them.

It wouldn't surprise me to see far right people use him as a cudgel for merit to be "not fair if not me", though.

I'm not the best King scholar, but my understanding is that his later writings were a bit more complicated. "evils of capitalism" and "destruction of society" are a bit confusing to me.
