...I gather that your immediate motivating issue is Ackman. I'm not that impressed with him; I mean, OK, he made several billion for himself and now writes pieces that should have the standing caption, "I'm Rich, and I'm Right." He made some decent points in the piece that was linked, demonstrated a lack of rigorous analytical thinking, and repeated his theme at too great a length (a problem for a lot of social media writing--no editor). Much of it was argument by anecdote, and someone with the inclination and time could rebut it with 10 times as many counter-anecdotes.

At any rate, your sentiment, which I can understand may have been occasioned by frustration with Ackman, is certainly not one that is generalizable the way your subject line and message state.
