Akron led 1-0 at halftime. ND is now 5-0. Before today, they hadn't been 4-0 in 25 years. I suspect they'll improve considerably on their No. 13 ranking in the next poll.

but Akron played with ten men for about an hour. Akron led 1-0 at the time of the red card. So while it was Akron's fault they went down to ten, the game may not be the perfect bellweather.


Porter's gone to Portland Timbers too.
