The way I understood things, JK had reached the point where he was tired of asking and having Chandler find an excuse not to go, and wants Chandler to show some initiative about being a part of the team. As such, "I was open to the call-up and he never asked" seems like game-playing.
this time, he would go. And JK, being tired of asking, didn't ask him.
That or Chandler is just upset he wasn't asked.
I would not put it past Chandler to say he wanted to come after he knew JK was not asking. Spin control.
One would think that JK would at least call his bluff.
After calling repeatedly for every game for 2 years, the one time the US doesn't call he is suddenly anxious to get a cap? Right. Timmy is a talent, but I hope Jürgen sticks with...you've got my number.
