Fun to watch as she overcame the defending champion on the second to last lap. The Duck women were 4/5 on that 10K race which Molly won and it helped them o take the team event today like the men did yesterday. Great meet for the Ducks and ND women with their first individual NCAA championship.

I admit to having doubts with that pack of four in front of her for such a long time and then when the defending champ pulled ahead...however, my wife said that in a different national race that Molly had run in, the same thing happened...another runner pulled ahead and then she fell back and Molly pulled ahead.

Given that Seidel had the fastest time coming in (and yes, conditions are different), I wondered why Stone and the other guy focused so much on those two runners. Another sign that ESPN was in ABND mode?
