Nets, Wizards, and now Hornets will all be hiring, along with probably 2-4 that aren't known yet. He was the 3rd name Woj mentioned as likely to get a look.

None of those teams figure to be good for awhile, so if he got a gig, it's probably one with a decently long runway. There's only 30 top jobs in the league, would be pretty cool for former ND players to occupy 2 of them!

He served as acting HC in 3 games that Spoelstra had to miss. He has been on staff for 10 years now and was a player for 3-4 years before that, so, if Heat Culture actually is that meaningful, he's fully steeped in it. Heat may be only NBA franchise with 2 Domers (Ruth Riley, too) on their staff.

Seems every year his name's on the Usual Suspects list *
