Multi-pronged strategy by WilfordBrimley

1. There will be the occasional day even in places like CT and Chicago in the winter when you can get out to the range or on the course. Utilize them.

2. Strength and conditioning. I wouldn’t even make it all that golf-specific other than yoga and flexibility training. It’s the worst thing I am at in the winter.

3. Plan a long weekend to a warm weather destination (South Florida, Arizona, Southern California in Dec/Jan/Feb or Carolinas, Georgia, northern Florida, Northern California, or Texas in March or April). It will keep your attention in your game and allows some serious play during the winter.

4. Indoor hitting if it’s available and relatively cheap.

5. I tend to think fall and winter are the best times for swing changes so you can drill and focus on the movement. Maybe a see a pro. It will also keep your attention sharp on your game.
