There needs to be room at the hospital. by rockmcd

Florida, Arizona, and Texas are running out of ICU beds in too many of their hospitals and have ordered refrigerated trucks to store the dead bodies because the morgues are full.

I accept that you can't prevent all people from dying due to this or any other cause, so there is kind of a sliding scale in which a certain number of people getting sick and dying is acceptable and not worth shutting down the country. I get that. In my opinion, the line on that scale that should not be crossed is when you have people dying at home or in triage because there are not enough beds and/or doctors to treat them. If certain cities or states are getting close to that point, that seems like an obvious time to scale things back.
