We can make a schedule that is every bit as competitive, if not more competitive than, any Power 5 school with a mix of Power 5 and Group of 5 teams. We just need to be smart on which Group of 5 teams we schedule, as well as the Power 5 schools we choose.

We could put together a schedule that consists of 12 Power 5 schools and it could be the weakest schedule among any Power 5 school. We could also put together a schedule of, say, 8 Power 5 schools and the right selection of Group of 5 schools, and have among the strongest strength of schedule among Power 5 schools. Maybe the magic number of Power 5 schools needed is 9 instead of 8. However, it sure isn't 11.
