Should the US adopt mandatory voting similar to Australia? by BigBadBrewer

There should definitely be a "none of the above" option. Australia fines people for not voting.

Some people feel concern about voting not requiring ID, due to the potential for fraud. Others feel concern about disenfranchisement.

Why not ensure everyone has ID, as they'd need to be identified in order to participate, and makes their choices? What could be more representative than ensuring everyone participates?
