Height:  5'9 Weight:  150 lbs. Alumni Status:  '79 BBA Accounting, and a proud Dillon Dirtball
Location:  Chicago western suburbs Favorite Baseball Team:  2005 World Champion White Sox, my other sports passion right behind ND football
Natural Enemies:  Cubs, Trojans, Hurricanes, Wolverines, conspiracy theorists and cynics

Athletic Ability: Not a pretty sight. Actually, I'm terrible. Loved playing baseball, and played a lot of it but couldn't hit a lick and have a pus-arm. Was 120 lbs. dripping wet when I graduated, so football was not an option. Arm-wrestled to a draw in Dillon Hall arm-wrestling flyweight division with the only guy in the hall skinnier than me, and I'm not making that up (the late Dave Huffman insisted that we take off our shirts for the champeenship). A simply awful golfer.

Favorite participation sport now, by far, is skiing, learned to ski in the west and am pretty good at it, but am cursed to live in the flatlands. Finally got to ski this year after a six year drought.

Sartorial Style: Used to wear suits daily, now wear them for weddings and funerals. Believe it or not, I miss it somewhat. Only somewhat.

Style? Since I don't wear suits just make sure the colors match. I have never worn a baseball cap backwards in a sports bar.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: Beer, which is one reason I weigh 30 lbs. more than my graduation weight, though I tried very hard to gain weight through through beer consumption at ND. It just took a few years to kick in. Prefer imports and microbrews, and that light beer of any kind is a communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. I will not have that swill in my house.

Also enjoy single malt Scotch.

Political Philosophy: Moderate, pro-life Democrat who votes for the candidate over the party.

If I were dog, I'd be a Blue Dog.

My goal is to have conservatives think I'm a liberal and have liberals think I'm a conservative. And they'd both be correct.

Religious Philosophy: Practicing Catholic. If you want to get to Carnegie Hall, you have to practice.

Musical Favorites: My knowledge of popular music ended in about 1985. For rock, I'm a Beatles-Stones guy. Enjoy Irish traditional music. Also enjoy classical music and most of my music CD's are classical, in fact.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: Bobrone Davieham: "What the . . . ?"

Miscellaneous Data: I live to travel. There's almost nothing I'd rather do and I never get over the thrill of going to a new place for the first time.

For those who wonder what the hell I actually do and even for those who don't, I'm a software applications implementation consultant on ERP systems.

Am one of five ND grads in the family.

I once took "Meal of Jesus" at ND.
