I heard on the inside lacrosse tailgate podcast
the final ground ball differential was 46 to 30, +16 for Princeton, Princeton was +14 on non-face off ground balls.

It was worse in the first half- non-face off ground balls- Princeton 20, Notre Dame 3.

I think we were cleaner on offense, so fewer ground balls.

I'd probably need to watch the game again too confirm, but we didn't turn it over much. We just didn't get enough quality shots. We didn't get enough ground balls on our defensive side. That's what killed us.

At times it seemed like those ground balls had "eyes", look

ing right into the sticks of the Princeton players! Their offense is a thing of beauty and I wonder how much is scheme vs. players. Next year I wonder if all our opponents will zone us, although we seemed to attack it better in the 2nd half when we were more desperate.

Seemed like every ball went the other way.
