that happened, especially if you include Syracuse's entire history as an ACC team. I am attaching the NCAA championship history with the final two. In 2015 there were no ACC teams in the final two but ND made the Final 4. Since then either an ACC team or Syracuse has been in the FInal two since 1987 when Cornell & Hopkins played in the final. Checking though both Syracuse and Maryland were the other two teams in that Final 4. Then you go back to 1978 when Hopkins again played Cornell, but Maryland made it that year as the aCC rep.

It does seem like the Big 10 with Maryland and Ohio State have trumped the ACC this year.
