A few thoughts

You are correct - face offs are our weakest spot. Until that gets fixed (which certainly won’t happen next week vs Denver), ND will continue to struggle against top teams. ND was 1-11 in the 2nd half.

I didn’t think ND clearing was poor - ND was 12-14 on clears.
ND never had a chance at the end to put on a 10 man ride late, MD only had 3 clears in the 4th quarter.

Goalie play wasn’t great, while MD’s goalie made a few great saves. The goal to end the first half was brutal.

Saw a stat that Garnsey played 36 minutes and ND scored 8 goals during that time. They scored 2 goals in the 24 minutes he wasn’t in the game. So....why wasn’t he in the game? Is he in the dog house for some reason?

Despite the face off challenges, goalie play, inability to stop Kelly and the feeling ND never in the game, ND only lost by 2. Let’s see if they can right the ship next week.
