automatic ND was getting them based on limiting travel and ND not being in the top 4. It is certainly frustrating that Denver had to come to South Bend but winning either UM or UNC moves them out of that path. Overall, the seeding was pretty on. Only the 7 and 8 seeded teams lost which makes sense given they should be playing teams of comparable talent. The 5th seeded team (Hopkins) struggled with G-Town while the top 4 teams, for the most part controlled their opponents.
coming into Arlotta.
Georgetown had just won the Big East and held Denver to 3 goals.
Richmond showed they could score goals against ND earlier this year.
Syracuse dominated ND earlier this year and would have loved a chance to play ND again - I bet they would have rather played ND than Cornell.
ND got a fair draw "based on their body of work"....ND has themselves to blame - if they beat UM and UNC, they would be a higher seed.
Go ahead and be pissed about NCAA match-ups, but ND had several opportunities to win that game yesterday. Up 7-6, they allowed the last 3 goals of the game (very similar to end of UNC game).
Aside from incorrectly stating that Denver brought a band, there was no reason to be that combative with another poster. I was frustrated and still am. I hate being out of it before Memorial day.
Since it was an NCAA Tournament game they played Denver’s fight song over the PA after they scored.
That applies here, and pretty much universally. Fuck them.
Interesting to see how they fair next year without Baptiste?
WTF is up with Goalie recruiting?
32 players and overall 8 of top 86. That Muffet McGraw-like !
