They were one of the original sources of graduate transfers in MLax. Pannell basically dropped out of Cornell after he got hurt so he could play there the next season without transferring.

...financial aid available to athletes and non-athletes alike. Given lacrosse’s demographics, probably not as helpful as in basketball or to a lesser extent football.

Then again, a fully funded lacrosse program only gets like 12 scholarships, right? So the competition is likely between partial athletic scholarships at scholarship programs and partial need based financial aid for at least some players at Ivy programs.

plus preferential admission is likely very attractive to many LAX families. Net price is likely cheaper than at Duke or ND for many of these kids.
