Because of joining a conference, in the last years Hopkins has had to drop thier annual game against Navy and starting next year they will no longer be able to play UVA. The UVA game goes back to the 40s. Part of the ending of the UVA game is due to the cha
nges in the ACC schedule and the conference tournament now sucking up 2 weekends, which is inherently dumb. Every other conference has figured out how to not do that.

But, you wont get me to defend the conference.
Always thought ACC was better fit for them

Rumors are Hopkins approached ACC about becoming an associate member but the ACC didnt want that.

Maryland out of the ACC is just sadness.
