Coaching decision

I didn’t read all the way through the Corrigan sucks thread below, but the drawn up play after the timeout with 13 seconds left was egregious. Ryder starting with the ball was 100% the right decision. So was setting a pick/playing the two man game. It was absolutely moronic to have Gleason set the pick. The goal of the pick is to draw a switch to a favorable matchup. Lord knows Hopkins did it with Epstein last week. Gleason was guarded by Van Raaphorst, so what did we gain? They switched a first team All American defender for another. Gleason should have been nowhere near that play. Jackoboice or McCahon should have been setting that pick. My 8th grade son’s team knows a Middie guarded by a shortie sets the pick at X
