Women Won Without Maddie Howe and Savannah Buchanan

Got off to a tight start, which is understandable when two of your best and steadiest players are not in the lineup, then they got in a groove and took off in the 3rd Quarter.

Reassuring to see that the Irish can lose two of the three players nominated for post-season honors and still cruise to a win, behind Samantha Lynch, Andie Aldave, and -- in a major way -- freshman Kasey Choma, who had six (6) goals. Choma shot 6 for 6 -- the frosh can finish and Aldave was 4 for 6.

Hope Howe and Buchanan are not too seriously injured or ill and can come back when they play Duke.
