Andie Aldave took almost all the faceoffs until midway through the 2nd half, so Coach Halfpenny must be making sure Andie is sharp as a tack against North Carolina.

The fab frosh once again led in scoring with Kasey Choma scoring 4 goals (on only 6 shots) and Madison Ahern having 2 goals and 2 assists.
Soph. Hannah Dorney had her best scoring game of the year, racking up a hat trick.

With it being spring break (and now no campus life to speak of to come back to), I'm guessing the Irish will stay in the south until the Sunday game. Really looking forward to see how they match up with the Tar Heels; in particular, how the first-year goalie Deehan and the freshman do.

board as they got to 11-0 in 17 1/2 minutes which was ridiculous as they were so efficient scoring and Deehan stopped the few shots Vanderbilt had. They started the running clock when they were ahead by 10 and took the foot off the gas after the 11th score. Vanderbilt finally scored 7 mintes after ND's 11th and their second 3 minutes later stopping the running clock. Then ND scored their 12th a minute later and finished the half with running clock.

The second half ND just controlled the game not being aggressive to scores with 10/11 point leads getting back scores every time Vandy scored until they finally scored 2 in a row again with 15 minutes left stopping the running clock again until ND scored 2 1/2 minutes later. ND kept that 10/11 pt lead for the rest of the match. Vandy's final score came with only 2 minutes left.

I am very impressed with this team. I also can't wait to see them against UNC.
