If they take the year off, which somewhere between 1/10 and 1/6 of students are doing anyway due to the remote classes, etc., they have the chance to come back and play out their eligibility at their school. If they continue in classes, they don't get that year back on the fields of Old Nassau, and instead to get their last year of eligibility would have to transfer after graduation.


Agreed. It is what I would tell my kid to do

Just amazing when I saw that. Even if they can play in the spring (and I think that is somewhat doubtful for the Ivies) they wouldn’t be able to field a team. Makes me wonder if the other 12 girls are the ones the other 19 don’t like and didn’t tell them about opting out.
