ACCN Network Games Announced for Men, Women

These are primarily out-of-ACC games that those of us who are hoop fans have gotten used to paying Sling TV or YouTube for to get access (darn that Comcast/Infinity).

- Feb. 27 4 p.m. Robert Morris at Notre Dame ACCN

Women:

- Feb. 19 6 p.m. Central Michigan at Notre Dame ACCN
- Feb. 26 8 p.m. Oregon at Notre Dame ACCN

Oregon Seems To Be Following Stanford & USC....

..in particular as PAC12 schools that are pushing the sport forward on the left coast. Stanford was the pioneer and Oregon's coach was the offensive coordinator there before heading up to Eugene.

Interesting how each school targets talent:
- By nature of the sport and whom they go after anyways, Stanford has a natural draw in the sport;
- To start up, USC went heavily after Long Island talent (see Yellow Jackets club).
- Oregon seems to pinpointing kids from all over the country.

ND has always played the PAC schools, so Halfpenny is continuing what Coach Coyne did years ago with the Cardinal.

Central Michigan? No idea the Chippewas had a program.
