Focus here is on the defense, which returns virtually everyone and has a second-team pre-season All American transferring from Maryland.

While many teams have multiple transfers, ND kept many seniors around in grad school...there are 7!

This team is loaded, which it will have to be to take on UNC, Loyola, Syracuse, Stony Brook and Northwestern. Lots of parity at the top.
