performance by the Irish. They already have a 1st time record all-time as the Irish opened the NCAA Tournament with a 16-0 blanking of Robert Morris, which was the first-ever shutout in the history of the NCAA D1 Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. After beating Va, the Irish have won two games in a single NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history (2006). So a win today not only gets them to their 2nd Final 4, but will be the 1st time they won 3 in a row in the tourney since 2006 there were only 16 teams in the tourney back then.

Deehan and the ND defense has definitely played well on D. They'll need it today to avoid ending their season with a 3rd loss to BC.
