The championship game was actually a series of 6-1 runs. ND led 6-1 after the first half. Duke then went on a 6-1 run in the third quarter to tie the game at 7. Then ND pretty much closed out the game with a second 6-1 run of its own, until Duke scored a meaningless goal in the final minute.
