I've seen in a few places ND listed as -135 to win the title

So that would make us heavier favorites at the start of the tourney than we were heading into the championship game last year (article said we were slight -120 favorites over Duke). I don't know if there were betting lines on the soccer or women's basketball titles ND won but since the Fiesta Bowl win over West Virginia this has to be amongst if not the lowest odds an ND team (as mentioned below excepting Fencing) has been to win a title at any point much less before the tourney even begins.

I grabbed them at +450 back in Feb. *

ND was apparently only a 5-point favorite against WVU. *

probably would have been in the -180/-200 range on the money line so bigger favorites than the lacrosse currently is but lacrosse has to win three extra games.

I would put women's soccer in 1997 on the list

Unfortunately, that team suffered a shocking semifinal loss to UConn, whom it had dominated twice during the regular season.

But Corrigan is much better coach than Petrucelli so it is apples to oranges.
