Glad Cormier isn’t a finalist.

Having a huge day against St Joes. 8 goals and now the all time career goal leader passing O’Keefe

Congrats to All 3; Wolak Has Consistently Improved...

and this is a great recognition of that improvement. She and Kasey Choma have once again made first team in one of the major end-of-year awards but Wolak now drives this team.

As for the guys, Could Liam E. be the first goalie to win this thing...in ages? Ever? Perhaps the big three attackmen cancel each other out?

A goalie has never won. Only 3 midfielders have.

I didn't realize that the award has only been around since 2001. So we're not looking at a long history. That said, no defensive player has ever won it. It's been mostly an award for best attackman.

Its a stats award - but luckily this year no one has put up

monster stats. And better yet, the guy with the best stats (Brandau from Yale) didn't make the tournament so he is pretty much done. If there was a year that it would go to a gritty QB type, or a goalie this is the year.

I could be wrong, but I think Pat will get it

He's going to put up big numbers in the tourney.
Brandau is sitting at home and at some point O'Neill's disappearing act when he plays ND will finally become more of a story line with the lax media.

We could use a Duke first round loss.

I hope you're right about Pat. Entenmann being the first goalie to win would be pretty cool too.
