B13 flying solo...any suggestions?

I'm trying to get B13 out to the west coast (portland) to visit his aunt and uncle for a fishing trip. Delta wants to charge me $150 EACH WAY. Am I stuck paying this extortion? B13 is intelligent and self sufficient and could easily navigate an airport and connections on his own.

I checked Frontier too and they flat out won't allow unaccompanied kids below the age of 15.

Maybe I'll just buy my own jet.
