In reply to: Anyone own a Scarab 215 Wake or a HeyDay Wakeboats WT2-DC?  posted by Rudy36

The wake from a boat with inboard ballast tanks and room for fat sacks to add more ballast on the wake side will be superior to anything a jet boat can produce. If well kept, they hold their value quite well, as our 21' 2006 compares very favorably to a new model for $80k.

Rear seating on Malibus, MasterCraft, etc is wrong for us.

We are going from a 24’ pontoon and my wife doesn’t want it to feel crowded. She would still rather have a pontoon or deck boat. She just likes to float, drink, and sun. 22’ fiberglass hull limit on our lake.

My wife and I like the Versa-Lounge on the Scarab. Kids like the hot tub seating on the HeyDay.
