He may then have missed game 7 on 6/22/94 and not shot 2 for 50 (OK, so it was 2 for 18) and the Knicks would have won their first championship since 1973, which they still seek, and Patrick Ewing would not be with Karl Malone and John Stockton among the best NBA players without a championship.
Yes, as a Knicks fan I was beside myself here in Austin watching the slow chase versus game 5, which the Knicks won. Still, even with Starks unable to hit the broad side of a barn, the Knicks only lost game 7 by 6 to Hakeem and the Rockets.
