Tom Brady, not so "Terrific"
by rutfilthygers (2019-08-23 09:26:33)

I'd frankly forgotten about Brady's ridiculous attempt to trademark a nickname I've never heard anyone use for him. I'm glad common sense prevailed and his bid was rejected.

Who but a Michigan Man could possess so much hubris?

Thanks to this post, I’m getting U of Mich ads *

I got to see him one time as a kid in the 70’s at Shea during his Mets peak. What a pitcher.

Even at the end of his career when he was with the White Sox, and he didn't have his best stuff anymore, he got by on smarts.

Textbook throwing motion, too, especially how he "pitched with his legs", which is why he never had arm trouble.

He was one of those guys who you wondered how he could not have been a unanimous HOF selection.

98.8% 1st ballot; highest all-time til Mariano Rivera (100%)
