Music recommendations from the BR?

Between listening to my son's jazz band and finishing HBO's Treme, I've become interested in music from artists like Trombone Shorty (the clip below from Austin City Limits is an excellent example, especially past the initial 1 min drum solo). I've already been using Spotify to discover other artists (e.g. Galactic, Cory Wong), but was wondering if the BR had specific recommendations.
