It’s about the logistics of not having stores and shipping a mattress through the mail. An innerspring mattress can’t be jammed in a box like Casper or Purple. The logistics drove the technology of the mattress, not some inherent better quality.

In a box, just like the foam ones. It's pretty impressive.

Agree with you about the logistics point though. I couldn't shake the feeling that the foam guys were selling them because it was good for them, and the hell with me.
