I would love to see some golf events go off the beaten track

For example I think it would be fun to have a bunch of pros play some sort of state or regional roulette wheel of a tournament. Have something like 4 different area courses and randomize the draw so you don't know who the partners are or which course you are on until the morning of. That said everyone would play every hole, just the first few days you wouldn't know which course and who with. By the last day you would know the course but wouldn't necessarily be playing on the same course as the guy who you are trying to catch or hold off.

I think that would be a lot of fun to watch. As a bonus you could send them out to some of the courses I played on in high school: 9 Hole Sand greens with a fun "breeze" of 35+ MPH with some 50+ gusts thrown in for good measure.
