that was the death knell. The big one? IBM. And it was because they were losing that younger talent as you said. It rippled through everywhere way beyond the computer industry when they made the change.

The last time I wore a suit to a client was in 2003, to Vanguard's headquarters in the Philly suburbs, where they still all wore suits. It was already like a time warp by that time.

I like to tell people that the only place where people still wore suits in an office by 2010 was Dunder Mifflin.
