I’m assuming that if you are flying, you’ll fly into Detroit and drive the rest of the way.

I looked up the Toledo Airport’s Wikipedia page. After Labor Day, the only airline service will be on Allegiant.

It has robust cargo traffic due to proximity to I-80/90, rails, and a solid lake port; however, it's passenger options are pretty awful.

Toledo's airport will always suffer because of its proximity to Detroit (which in my humble opinion is one of the best airports in the world).
