My 12 year old Sanyo finally bit the dust so I just went

through this process and landed on the Epson 4010. It’s a huge upgrade over the old Sanyo. Picture quality is great, deep blacks. This thing pumps out a ton more light than the old Sanyo too. It’s almost like watching a new OLED instead of a projector. The motorized lens adjustments may not seem important, but it’s honestly really nice to have when setting it up.

I purchased from Dell and was able to use the AMEX cash back deal at that time. I think it’s even better now.

Also, get a decent screen. Doesn’t have to cost as much as the projector, but plan to spend a couple hundred for it.
